Victor Osimhen: Bruno Giordano rates Nigerian star on same level as Cristiano Ronaldo

Former Lazio and Napoli legend Bruno Giordano has rated Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen on the same level with Manchester United great, Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of aerial ability.
Osimhen broke the Serie A record set by Ronaldo while playing for Juventus by jumping highest with 2.58m to score against Spezia, canceling the previous set by the Portuguese legend (2.56) to score against Sampdoria in 2019.
The Super Eagle has shown his aerial qualities since he joined Napoli, with 14 of his goals coming from headers.
And Giordano believed the Super Eagles’ center forward posses more scoring prowess than Lazio’s Ciro Immobile.
“Two great strikers Osimhen and Immobile , Osimhen is blossoming now, the other has shown it over time,” Giordano told Sport Today.
“Victor is experiencing a period of great splendor, Ciro has had some physical problems but both of them can make you win the game by inventing a decisive play.
“The Napoli striker plays in a team that creates many chances but the Lazio team also has teammates who can put him in the best conditions to score.”
“Osimhen is second to none in the world in headers: only Cristiano Ronaldo is on the same level. Immobile is a little colder in front of goal, this is also due to his age, experience and long apprenticeship.”
If Osimhen scores against Lazio, he would create same record as former France and Juventus striker David Trézéguet by scoring in nine consecutive matches in the Italian Serie A.
