Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen could leave Napoli next summer despite signing a new deal, according to Italian Football agent Dario Canovi.
The 24-year-old scored 31 goals in all competitions including 26 in the league to secure Napoli’s first Scudetto title in 33 years becoming the first African player to clinch the Capocannoniere (Golden Boot) in history.
Despite recently signing a contract extension, the Nigerian striker continues to attract interest from top European teams, including Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
There are rumours linking Osimhen with a move to Premier League giants Chelsea, and his next destination would most likely be England.
However, Dario Canovi who is an experienced transfer agent believes Osimhen will depart Napoli by next summer’s transfer window.
“It is a renewal that simply serves to increase the price. In my opinion, he will leave Napoli in June,” he said via Napoli Magazine
