Victor Osimhen craves Premier League experience amid Napoli silverware dream

Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen has expressed his admiration for the Premier League, revealing that he might end up playing in England someday.

The Nigerian striker has been linked with top clubs in Europe, including Chelsea and Manchester United, after hitting 19 goals in 20 Serie A games this season.

Napoli are charging towards a first Scudetto since 1990 and Osimhen is keen to fire the Italian outfit to a Serie A and Champions League double before considering his move to English top-flight.

Despite craving for a moving to Premier League, the Nigeria international insists he is fully focused on Napoli.

“I think it is an ambition of all players and who knows one day,” Osimhen told Italian tabliod, Corriere Della Serra.

“Right now, I assure you it doesn’t even cross my mind. It would distract me from a beautiful season. (I’m thinking of) only Napoli.”

While Napoli sit atop the Serie A standings currently with 65 points from 24 matches, Osimhen leads the Serie A goalscoring charts with 19 goals and three assists in 20 games.
