Victor Osimhen is precious to Napoli – Alex Meret

Napoli goalkeeper, Alex Meret has revealed how precious star forward, Victor Osimhen is.

The Nigeria forward rescued Napoli with a fantastic strike to secure a point for the Italian side against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.

Meret apologized for the goal conceded but reiterate the fact that, Osimhen’s contributions in the game gave them a point, while describinh how valuable the Super Eagles forward is to the club.

“Sorry for the goal conceded because the match was balanced, but we also drew thanks to Victor’s feat,” Meret was quoted by Napoli website.

”Osimhen is precious for us, but those who came on in the second half also gave new energy.”

The Partenopei will face the Blaugrana in the second leg on March 12 at the Nou Camp.
