Victor Osimhen reveals secret behind red-hot form under Luciano Spalletti

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has attributed his current goalscoring streak to manager Luciano Spalletti’s influence.

Osimhen who one of the hottest strikers in Europe at the moment has been in exceptional form for the Italian side this season.

The in-form Nigerian forward was on target again as Napoli claimed a 2-0 win over Empoli to go 18 points clear at the top of the Serie A table on on Sunday.

Speaking after the game, Osimhen hailed Spalletti as a demanding coach who seek to get the best out of his players and also praised the results the team has been getting under his current manager.

“Spalletti always pushes me to give my best, he’s a very good and very demanding coach,” the 24-year-old told media.

“He wants every player to be able to express himself at his best, and we follow him because we’re doing an extraordinary job, which can be seen in the game and in the results.

“This is definitely the best season of my career, I feel great mentally and physically, and I’m happy to be able to continue like this to achieve great goals,” he concluded.
