Victor Osimhen slams Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent over transfer rumour

Victor Osimhen has publicly blasted his teammate Khvicha Kvaratskheli’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, for falsely linking the Nigerian with a move to the Saudi Pro League.
After several back and forths on his future with the club, the Africa Player of the Year has signed a contract extension with Napoli through June 2026, which includes a €130 million release clause.
Despite the new contract, intense speculation surrounding his commitment to the giants from Naples continued and Mamuka is among those who believe the Nigerian will leave in the summer.
However, the Napoli man is currently on international duty with Nigeria, preparing for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which will kick off on January 13 in Ivory Coast.
Mamuka believes his client’s teammate could leave Serie A champions SSC Napoli for Saudi Arabia this summer.
“Osimhen signed a new contract, but do you really think he will spend his entire career at Napoli? I can already tell you he will go to Saudi Arabia next summer,” Mamuka told media.
Kvaratskhelia’s agent said: “Napoli has raised his salary, but Khvicha would not accept such a transfer even for €1 billion. He’d rather play for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Manchester City. Kvaratskhelia has different targets and preferences.”
On his part, irked Osimhen responded on his Instagram stories: “Dear Mamuka Jugeli, you are a piece of filth and a disgrace, I’m embarrassed at your sense of reasoning. Dump f*ck, keep my name out of your mouth.”
