Victor Osimhen urged to stay put at Napoli to develop more under Antonio Conte

Italian football agent Vincenzo Morabito is confident that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has a strong chance to excel under the new Napoli manager, Antonio Conte.
Antonio Conte has recently been announced as Napoli’s manager on a three-year deal, although he may be facing the challenge of working without Osimhen.
The 25-year-old striker is eager to leave Naples for the Premier League, maintaining his desire to move despite Chelsea’s withdrawal from the race and Arsenal’s fluctuating interest.
Osimhen remains hopeful for a move to the EPL, particularly as Arsenal have renewed their interest after missing out on signing Benjamin Sesko.
However, Morabito believes that staying with the Italian giants could be more beneficial for Osimhen.
“If I were in the Nigerian player’s shoes, I would still remain with the Azzurri under the guidance of the Lecce-born coach. Working with Antonio Conte would do him a lot of good,” Morabito told 1Station Radio via Area Napoli.
Conte has a proven track record of bringing out the best in strikers, with Romelu Lukaku and Diego Costa being prime examples of his successful influence during his tenures at Chelsea and Inter Milan respectively.
In addition to potentially thriving under Conte’s management, Osimhen could also have the opportunity to win another Scudetto, given Conte’s impressive history of securing four Serie A titles.
Osimhen’s decision is crucial not only for his career growth but also for the strategic development of Napoli under Conte’s leadership.
The coming weeks will determine if Osimhen stays to potentially benefit from Conte’s expertise or makes his desired move to the Premier League.
