Victor Osimhen Wins Sportsman of the Year at 2025 GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards

Nigeria and Galatasaray superstar Victor Osimhen has added another major honour to his growing list of accolades after being named Sportsman of the Year at the prestigious 2025 GQ Türkiye Men of the Year Awards.

The star-studded ceremony, held in Istanbul, celebrated exceptional achievements across sports, entertainment, culture and leadership — and Osimhen emerged as one of the standout figures of the night.

The Nigerian striker, who has been in dazzling form since joining Galatasaray, received a rousing ovation as he stepped on stage to accept the award.

His influence on and off the pitch, his leadership, and his consistent world-class performances were all cited as key reasons behind his selection.

Osimhen’s Remarks After Receiving the Award
