Victor Sochima: Former Rivers United goalkeeper joins Tanzanian club Tabora United

Sochima Victor, a former goalkeeper for Rivers United has made a move to Tanzanian club Tabora United FC, Nigeriafootball.ng reports.
Sochima will begin a new adventure of his career in the Tanzanian league ending several years in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.
Tabora United confirmed that the goalkeeper has signed a season deal on Thursday after a successful medical examinations.
Sochima left Rivers United at the end of last football season following the end of his contract and chose not to renew the deal with former NPFL champions.
His move is a testament to the growing appeal of Tanzanian football, which has attracted several Nigerian players in recent times.
Notably, Super Eagles defender Taminu Benjamin, formerly of Bendel Insurance, is already plying his trade in the Tanzania league.
Sochima’s arrival adds to the growing contingent of Nigerian players in Tanzania, highlighting the strengthening ties between the two nations’ football communities.
