Besiktas forward, Vivian Ikechukwu has been given a late call-up to the camp of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team ahead of this month’s friendly encounters with FIFA Women’s World Cup-bound Haiti and New Zealand.

The 25-year-old became the second player to be given a late call-up to Randy Waldrum’s team after Onyi Echegini also got on the roster replacing Chinaza Uchendu.

The former Gintra FC and Rivers Angels forward will join the team ahead of Friday’s clash with Haiti at the Emir Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey.

The nine-time African champions will also face World Cup co-hosts New Zealand at the Mardan Sports Complex also in Antalya on Tuesday, 11th April.

In March, the Super Falcons were at the four-nation Revelation Cup in the city of Leon, Mexico where they played three matches, losing to World Cup-bound Colombia and Mexico before triumph over Costa Rica.
