WAFCON Qualifiers: It’s the Minnows for Nigeria
Nigeria will face Sao Tome and Principe within the 2024 Girls’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifiers.
The primary spherical qualifying draw for the WAFCON was held in Morocco, Thursday, and Nigeria alongside a number of large wigs entered the qualifiers within the first spherical.
Cameroon, Ghana, Senegal, Egypt and Algeria are amongst others who will vie for spots within the second spherical.
In the meantime, Morocco, who’ll host the fifteenth version of the match won’t participate within the qualifiers.
However, defending champions South Africa and bronze medal winners on the final version in 2022, Zambia had been drawn bye till the second spherical.
The qualifiers shall be on house and away foundation and so they get beneath approach in August.
