We all had confidence in Terem Moffi, reiterates OGC Nice manager Didier Digard

OGC Nice manager Didier Digard has reiterated his side’s confidence in Nigeria forward Terem Moffi’s exploits.

The Nigeria international arrived from Lorient on loan in January and could not to get on the scoresheet in his opening tree games for Les Aiglons until he broke his dock against Monaco on Sunday.

The Super Eagle scored a brace and had an assist as Nice thrashed Monaco 3-0 away to take his goal tally to 14 goals in 22 Ligue 1 matches and the manager said he never doubted the abilities of his January’s signing.

“Once again, I never doubted him. The main thing is that he had the support of all his teammates and his coaches,” Digard told the club.

“We were aware of the situation and he could have had doubts but he was able to work very calmly and feel the confidence everyone had in him.”

Nice are seventh on the log of the French Ligue 1 with 41 points from 25 matches and trail league leaders PSG by 19 points. The Les Aiglons will welcome Auxerre to the 36,178 capacity Allianz Riviera Stadium on  March 3, 2023.
