“We have to pick ourselves up” – Ishaku tasks Abia Warriors after Heartland defeat

Abia Warriors’ goalkeeper, Ali Ishaku has called on his team mates to snap out of their disappointing home loss tp Heartland on Sunday.
The ‘Umu Chineke’ side lost 0-2 at home to their Oriental rivals in the Matchday 10 of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL encounter in Umuahia.
The result put a clog in the team’s good run in the league haven recorded an important away win at Insurance.
Ishiaku urged his teammates not to dwell on the result and focus on the next league game.
“It’s painful, and obviously, it’s not the result we wanted.
“But we can’t dwell on it. We have to pick ourselves up and look forward to the next game,” Ishaku told Abia Warriors media.
Abia Warriors dropped to ninth position on the league table with 14 points.
Their next fixture is against Abia Warriors in Lafia on Sunday.
