We will go to court! Victor Osimhen’s agent set to sue Napoli for online troll

Nigeria star Victor Osimhen could be set to take legal action against his club Napoli over a post on an official TikTok platform aimed at mocking the striker.
Nigeria Football had earlier reported that the Nigerian was trolled via a video posted on the official Napoli’s TikTok account which is now-deleted video that went viral, the Partenopei trolls Osimhen for missing a penalty against Bologna on Sunday as the game ended goalless.
The 24-year-old led the Partenopei to their first league title in 33 years last season with his goals; however, the striker has been without his shooting boots this season, failing to score in his last four tries.
Nigerians served the club with a deserving online fightback for the decision of a club to use an official account to berate their own player.
Another video was posted by the page locking the comment section to avoid hit responses. This time the video resonated with a ‘racist’ attack towards the Golden Boot holder.
In the video, Victor Osimhen was captured with a coconut alongside a voiceover saying ‘I’m a coconut, I’m not human’. This apparently was referring to Osimhen to be a coconut.
However, according to his agent Roberto Calenda, they are ready to sue the club who are currently in contract extension negotiation with the player.
“What happened today on Napoli’s official profile on the TikTok platform is not acceptable,” Calenda posted on his official X account.
“A video mocking Victor was first made public and then, but now belatedly, deleted.
“A serious fact that causes very serious damage to the player and adds to the treatment that the boy is suffering in the last period between media trials and fake news.
“We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
