Management board of Wikki Tourist have issued a two-game must win ultimatum to technical adviser Kabiru Suleiman Dogo following the club’s poor run of results in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
Wikki started their season campaign on the back foot as they bowed 2-0 at home to Niger Tornadoes followed by the 2-1 silencing against Dakkada and Bayelsa United respectively before a goalless draw at home with Doma United.
Following the club’s disappointing form, the club management, in a statement signed by the secretary of the club, Adamu Idris Pali gave the technical adviser a two-game must win ultimatum or get booted out of the club.
“Sequel to the emergency meeting between the board members and management of Wikki Tourist Football Club Bauchi, I am directed to write forward to you the decision of the board of Wikki Tourists FC Bauchi,” the statement said.
“The board find your performances very low which will lead to decline and fall of our state darling team. In view of the above therefore, the club have decided to give you an ultimatum of 2 must win matches or proper action will be taken against you considering the terms of our agreement with you and the management of Wikki Tourists. We hope you will give us the best of your ability for better performance.”
Wikki Tourists are sitted bottom of the NPFL Group B with just a point from four matches and they will take on champions Rivers United in the next fixture on February 1.
