William Troost Ekong tips Victor Osimhen for Premier League move

Nigeria captain Troost-Ekong believes the only destination for Victor Osimhen will be the Premier League.

Osimhen, who is on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in superb form this season.

Chelsea FC previously showed interest in the former Africa Player of the Year winners.

Manchester United have been reported to have sent scouts to watch Osimhen.

His national teammate and captain, Ekong told TalkSport Weekend Sports Breakfast: “I know he’s a Chelsea fan, but I also know he’s had talks with all the top teams. It’s up to him what he chooses. He will fit into every team.

“I know Liverpool have spoken about getting a new striker next season. We will see.

“I’m also reading like everyone else is, that he has a clause this summer. When he went to Galatasaray I think it worked out amazingly for him.”

Osimhen has scored 26 goals with five assists over 28 games in all competitions for Galatasaray this season.
