Women’s World Cup: Ange Postecoglou backs Australia to beat Nigeria

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou has backed the Australian women team to defeat Nigeria and other opponents in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Matildas will be co-hosting the biggest women’s sport even in the world will New Zealand and they are tipped to cause upsets in the mundial.
Postecoglou wishes Australia well at the World Cup and urge them to create history.
“To Tony and all the girls, I just want to wish you all the very best in the World Cup,” Postecoglou was quoted by Complete Sports.
“Go hard, girls. This is the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Tournament on home soil, reminiscent of us winning the Asian Cup with the Socceroos.
“You can create history and I’ve got no doubt you will.”
Australia, who made their debut at the World Cup in 1995, will be making its ninth appearance at the World Cup this year.
The Tony Gustavsson tutored side are ranked 10th best team in the world and will be led by Chelsea artistry playmaker, Sam Ker in Women’s World Cup.
