Women’s World Cup: Perpetua Nkwocha throws weight behind Nigeria

Nigeria legend, Perpetua Nkwocha has thrown her backing to the Super Falcons to succeed at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Super Falcons will get their ninth campaign on the global stage underway against Olympic champions Canada in Melbourne before facing up with co-hosts Australia and Ireland in Brisbane.
The four time Africa player of the year appeared in four FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 and the former Nigeria striker has sent her best wishes to the Falcons, urging the team to be determined and give their all to conquer the world.
“I want to use this medium to wish our own Super Falcons and the entire coaching staff a good outing in the 2023 FIFAWWC in Australia and New Zealand,” she wrote on twitter.
“It’s time to show the world how determined, talented you are, go all out and give all your best. I wish you all injury free games.”
Nigeria will fight for the qualification slot in their group against Olympic champions, Canada, co-host Australia and Republic of Ireland.
