Nigeria forward Yetunde Aluko was on target for her Israeli Ligat Al side,  Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem on Thursday as the team earned a 2-0 win against Hapoel Beer Sheva.
The first half of the encounter was a keenly contested clash but the game opened up after the interval as the hosts mounted pressure on Hapoel Beer Sheva’s defence and the hard work was rewarded in the 52nd minute.
Aluko converted the first goal of the match for Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem seven minutes into the second half before Feliciano Flavia Giovana doubled their lead three minutes later to guarantee the clinical win.

Her compatriot, Mercy Idoko played for the duration of the game for Zohar Kaminski’s side.
