‘You did something incredible’ -Balotelli lauds Osimhen on winning Scudetto with Napoli

The Nigerian scored a title-clinching equalizer in Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Udinese on Thursday to hand the Azzurri their third scudetto in the club’s history and first since the Diego Maradona era.

The Super Eagles star etched his name in the sands of time and the hearts of Naples fans after his goal ended Napoli’s over three-decade wait for a Seria A diadem.

Balotelli, who joined the Nigerian on his Instagram live session on Thursday, said the 24-year-old still won’t know yet how huge his contributions was to Napoli’s success, stressing that he would realize that years later.

“I have been calling some friends from Napoli, you have to go into the city and see, it’s crazy,” Balotelli told Osimhen.

“Trust me, you did something incredible, my friend. You still don’t know what you did. You will realize in years, not tomorrow (today), not next year, In ten years you will understand what you did, it is unbelievable.”

Osimhen responded: “I’m so amazing especially for the fans, I remember when I came here, a lot of people sent me messages… I don’t know how to celebrate.”
