Zaidu Sanusi: Nigerian defender helps FC Porto reach Portuguese Cup final

Zaidu Sanusi produced the needed impetus for FC Porto to stage a late dominance and record 3-2 win over Familicao in the semifinal of Portuguese Cup on Thursday.

The Super Eagles full back was a second half substitute for Porto providing added strength for the club in attack and defense.

The Nigerian was a star performer in the extra time despite both sides failed to get the winner at regulation time.

The 26-year-old full back won two tackles, provided three dangerous crosses and completed twelve forward passes.

FC Porto, however, scored twice in the closing minutes of extra time through Otávio and Evanilson to win 3-2 and advanced to the final 5-3 on aggregate.

Porto have now set up a final against Sporting Braga  slated for June 4.
