? Haaland successfully undergoes Man City medicals

Erling Haaland has reportedly undergone medicals at Manchester City ahead of the rumoured transfer this week. 

The striker has been a major target for the Premier League champions, having turned down interest from Chelsea last summer. 

City have reportedly agreed to activate the Norwegian’s €75 million release clause, leaving the door open for a move.

Haaland is said to have requested Dortmund to allow the announcement to be done this week, before the club’s last Bundesliga match. 

Once he signs, the 21-year-old will become one of the club’s highest-paid stars, level with Kevin de Bruyne, who currently pockets £375,000 per week. 

His fee will also be paid in one payment, as stipulated in his release clause, unlike many of the major transfers which are paid in installments.
