12 Teams Confirmed for Historic Kwara First Lady Pre-Season Championship

The stage is set for a landmark celebration of women’s football as twelve teams have officially confirmed participation in the maiden edition of the Kwara State First Lady Pre-Season Championship.

The tournament is designed to bring together emerging talents and competitive clubs from across Nigeria, serving as a key platform for preseason preparation while promoting the continued growth of women’s football in the country.

Teams from Kwara, Lagos, Ekiti, Kogi, and Oyo States will battle for honours in what promises to be an exciting and highly competitive showcase.

Speaking ahead of kickoff, organisers expressed delight at the strong level of participation, noting that the presence of clubs from multiple states highlights the growing appeal and importance of the competition.

Fans can expect five days of intense group stage action, followed by decisive knockout fixtures that will ultimately crown the champion of this historic preseason tournament.
