Maduka Okoye continued his fine run of form on Saturday, recording his eighth clean sheet of the season as Udinese secured a commanding 3-0 away victory over AC Milan in Serie A.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper, recently back to full fitness after missing Nigeria’s friendlies against Iran and Jordan due to injury, produced a composed and assured performance to help his side claim all three points at the San Siro.
This latest clean sheet brings Okoye’s tally for the 2025/2026 campaign to eight, following a string of impressive displays earlier in the season, including a goalless draw against Como in April.
A key figure for Udinese this season, Okoye has maintained remarkable consistency between the posts, edging closer to his personal best of 10 clean sheets in a single campaign. His performances have been widely praised, highlighting his growing influence in Italian football and reinforcing his reputation as one of Nigeria’s top goalkeeping talents.
Udinese’s victory over AC Milan not only boosts their position in the Serie A standings but also underscores Okoye’s importance to the team’s defensive stability, making him one of the standout performers of the season.
