2023 Afcon Qualifier: Sierra Leone name calls 38 players for Super Eagles

Sierra Leone have called up 38 players to camp as they prepare for their Africa Cup of Nation 2023 qualifier showdown against Nigeria this month.

John Keister’s side named an influential 38-player squad against Nigeria as they target a place at the 2024 AFCON in Ivory Coast.

The Leone Stars will engage the Super Eagles on the 18th of June at the Sam Kayon Stadium, Monrovia.

Nigeria will camp at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena due to having similar artificial turf surface with the stadium in Monrovia.

The Leone Stars seat at the third position in group A with five points from in four matches as they chase a win to fight their way to the 2024 AFCON.

To confirm their qualification for the 2024 AFCON, the Super Eagles need just a point In the encounter.

Nigeria camping for the crucial encounter will open on Sunday June 11 as the foreign based players will arrive the country.
