2023 ICMC: Unification Ladies complete quarter final teams

The quarter-final lineup of the 2023 Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup (ICMC) is complete after the conclusion of the group stage games at the St Patrick School, Asaba, Delta state capital, on Thursday.

The last match of the group stage saw Unification Ladies edge Bravehearts 1-0.

An early goal from Ayomiposi Adeyemi in the second minute of play settled the game.

Unification Ladies from Lagos sealed a place in the quarter-final as Group 2 winners.

The team joined Fortress Ladies, Papa Soccer Academy, Giant Empress, Phoenix Queens, Delta Babes, Imo Strikers, and Awka Angels.

In the first last eight game on Friday, Fortress Ladies will face Awka Angels by 9:00 am.

Imo Striker will trade tackles with Papa Soccer Academy as Unification Ladies play Giant Empress.

The last quarter-final game will see Phoenix Queens and Delta Babes battle it out for a place in the quarter-final.

The semi final games will be held on Saturday at the St Patrick School.
