2024 Federation Cup: Nigeria Football Federation extends registration date

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has extended the registration process for the 2024 Federation Cup have been pushed forward by two weeks.
In a a circular dated November 30 and signed by Ruth David, the Acting Director of the competition to all Football Association Secretaries, late registration by the clubs will attract penalty.
The competition which is a single-elimination knockout tournament will feature 74 teams from the 36 states and one team from the FCT after due qualifying playoffs from the respective states.
The price for the registration was also disclosed as men’s teams are charged N150,000 while women’s teams will participate after a fee of N100,000.
Meanwhile, late registration will attract N200,000 and N120,000 for men and women teams respectively.
Although, it is yet to be known when the state preliminaries and finals will commence.
The Federation Cup which is the oldest football competition in the country was last won by Bendel Insurance following their 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Rangers.
