2024 FIFA U-17 WWC: Flamingos group stage foes Ecuador release final roster

Ahead of this month’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic, one of Nigeria’s opponents in the group stage, Ecuador, has named their roster for the tournament.

The South American side named a 21-player roster for the journey to the Dominican Republic.

Eduardo Moscoso’s side are in Group A alongside host Dominica Republic, New Zealand and Nigeria.

Ecuador qualified as Conmebol (South America) third-best team in the second phase, defeating Paraguay 1-0 but losing heavily to Brazil and 4-2 to Colombia.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, MON, and the General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, MON, visited the hotel of the U17 Women National Team, Flamingos on Tuesday just before the girls jetted out of the country.

Nigeria U-20 women’s national team traveled for a two-week training tour in Santo Domingo, ahead of the commencement of this year’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup finals in the Dominican Republic.
