2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup: Falconets get African qualifiers opponents

The Nigeria U-20 girls now know their opponents for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
The two-time beaten finalist at the World Cup will not take part in the first round of Africa’s Qualifiers based on previous performance at the World Cup.
Christopher Danujuma’s side will face either Mauritius or Chad in the Second Round.
Mauritius and Chad will trade tackles in the First Round for the prize of meeting the West African powerhouse in the second round.
Falconets reached the quarter-final of the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
It recently participated at the maiden WAFU-B U-20 Women’s Cup in Ghana and will be in high spirits to qualify for another World Cup.
The team is the most successful U-20 women’s side in Africa after getting to the final of the World Cup twice, both losing to Germany.
