2024 Judith Chime Championship reaches quarter-final stage

Eight teams have sailed through to the quarter-final of the 2024 Judith Chime Championship, taking place in Enugu.

Holders, Imo Striker Queens finished top of Group A with six points while Rising Star and Zohar FC had one point apiece.

In Group B, Giant Empress and Immaculate Queens ended their group campaigns with four points each as Salt Jewels bowed out of the tournament without any points.

The final group, Group B, has four teams, different from the first two groups. Greenfoot Academy topped the log with a maximum of nine points ahead of Solo Wonders FC with four points.

Bravehearts FC also had four points and qualified for the quarterfinals while Disdevt in Afrik Jewels crashed out of the competition without any point.

On Thursday, the quarter-finals of the tournament will take center stage with four games.

Immaculate Queens and Bravehearts FC will get the last eight ties underway by 9:00 am before Rising Star and Greenfoot Academy take to the field by 11:00 am.

Defending champions Imo Striker Queens will also face Solo Wonders FC by 9:00 am, while Giant Empress and Zohar FC will complete the quarter-final pairings.
