4 new Nigeria Professional Football League clubs to be inducted on Nov 2

An induction and orientation workshop for the four newly promoted clubs to the NPFL will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Sandralia Hotel in Jabi, Abuja. Bendel Insurance, Doma United, El-Kanemi Warriors and Bayelsa United are the new NPFL Clubs.

It is a significant pre-season activity of the Nigeria Professional Football League to welcome four clubs from the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the elite division.

The workshop would be flagged off by the league’s Head of Operations, Davidson Owumi and it would have officials of the four clubs in attendance. The delegation from the clubs are expected in Abuja on November 1.

The workshop introduces the clubs to the rules guiding the NPFL and its operations. Many resource persons will also be available to talk about Club Licencing, Regulations and ICT/Communication, NPFL Framework, and other means of communication with the league body and fan engagement or information dissemination on social media.

Other matters to be discussed are; Disciplinary procedures in the NPFL, CAF competitions, match day organisation and relationship with state FAs, security procedure on match days and insurance policy available in the NPFL clubs.
