Stuart Kettlewell, Manager of Scottish Premier League side, Motherwell has expressed delight with the signing of Nigerian striker, Moses Ebiye for the remainder of the season.
The former Akwa United’s forward joined the Scottish club on a free transfer after becoming a free agent since ending his deal with Norwegian club Aalesund in January.
Ebiye made his name with one-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Akwa United before moving to Lillestrom.
A relieved Kettlewell said that the process worth the wait as Ebiye will be adding more qualities to his side.
“This has been a long and arduous process. A lot of people behind the scenes at the club have had to work very hard but we’re very excited to see what Moses can do in his time at the club,” the manager told the club website.
“His goalscoring record in Norway is very impressive and we feel that is something that will benefit us as we go into the remainder of the season.”
The 26 year old has 19 goals in the Norwegian top flight and has now arrived in Scotland, joining the club subject to international clearance.
