“Best six months of his career” – Rangers coach praises Cyriel Dessers

Rangers manager, Philippe Clement, has commended Cyriel Dessers for his significant improvement since joining the club.
Dessers, a key player for Rangers this season, scored both goals in a 2-0 victory, sending his side to the Scottish Cup final.
The 29-year-old striker, who joined Rangers from Italian club Cremonese last summer, has faced some challenges winning over the fans but has recently been in top form.
With his brace in the Old Firm Derby, Dessers has now scored 19 goals in all competitions this season.
Clement praised Dessers’ recent performances, stating, “He gained his freshness by not playing all the game against Dundee… Cyriel has played a lot of minutes, but he made a really big impact, the rest of the team also.”
He continued, “He is scoring his goals and is also becoming stronger. I think these six months playing here are the best six months he has had in his career. Now, we are going to work hard with him to make him better and better. I see more and more of the things I want to see from a striker.”
Clement emphasized Dessers’ work ethic and dedication to the team, adding, “He’s honest, he works really hard for the team. He’s scoring a lot of goals. Can he score more goals? Yes. But I don’t know any striker in the world who scores all their chances.”
