Samuel Chukwueze set to be without coach at AC Milan

Following AC Milan’s 2-1 defeat in Monday night’s Milan derby, coach Stefano Pioli finds himself under fire, with the loss handing the Serie A title to eternal rivals Inter Milan.

While Pioli led the Rossoneri to Scudetto victory two seasons ago, they failed to defend their crown last year when Napoli claimed the title.

Milan’s recent period has been marked by struggles, notably being knocked out 3-1 on aggregate by Roma in the Europa League quarter-finals this month.

The defeat against Inter, particularly significant as it was their sixth consecutive loss in the Derby della Madonnina, seems to have sealed Pioli’s fate, with reports suggesting his departure at the end of the season.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano indicated this, stating, “Stefano Pioli will be sacked by AC Milan board at the end of the season despite public statements after the Derby,” on X.
