NPFL: Kabiru Dogo ‘relieved’ after Kwara United win over Kano Pillars

By Wale Mustapha

Technical Adviser of Kwara United, Kabir Dogo, expressed relief after leading his team to a decisive 2-0 victory over Kano Pillars on Wednesday.

The Harmony Boys secured their win with goals from Ibrahim Dehinde and Ejeh Isaiah, one in each half, easing their relegation worries in the current Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The victory significantly boosted Kwara United’s chances of avoiding relegation, moving them to 11th place on the log with 48 points from 36 games.

Dogo emphasized the importance of the win and assured that the team would continue to work hard in the remaining matches to finish the season strong.

“The win was a very big relief to everyone at this club because the victory will go a long way in our fight against relegation,” Dogo told the club’s media.

“We need at least four points in the remaining two matches, and we will definitely give our all in the games.”

Kwara United will face Lobi Stars in their next league match this weekend.
