Former Nigerian U20 midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru has committed his future to Watford by signing a new three-year contract extension, keeping him at the English Championship club until 2028.
The 24-year-old has been with Watford since 2019, and despite facing several injuries that hampered his career development, he had an impressive season last year, featuring in 38 games and scoring four goals.
Dele-Bashiru’s previous contract was set to expire in 2025, but his new deal reflects the club’s confidence in his abilities and potential contributions.
He is expected to return to Vicarage Road on time for pre-season training, as Watford prepares for their new Championship campaign, starting with an away match against Millwall on August 10.
This extension provides Dele-Bashiru with stability and an opportunity to continue his development and make a significant impact at Watford.
