Yusuf Alhassan: Nigerian midfielder leaves Royal Antwerp for MLS side

Belgian Jupiler league side, Royal Antwerp has agreed a deal to sell Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yusuf to Major League Soccer, MLS side, New England Revolution, Nigeriafootball.ng. 

The Super Eagles midfielder will sign three deal worth £3m for a deal subject to medical test, according to source close to the Belgian club. 

Alhassan will be the second Nigerian player to move to MLS after his compatriot, Chiedozie Awaziem joined FC Cincinnati last month. 

Yusuf was instrumental to Antwerp winning the league in the previous season the performance earned him a call up to the national.

Yusuf was part of the Super Eagles team to the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.
