Gbenga Ogunbote relieved with Shooting Stars first win of the season vs Heartland

Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote has hailed his team’s first victory of the season as a significant relief following their 1-0 win over Heartland. After two frustrating draws, the Oluyole Warriors finally secured the much-needed points.
In a post-match interview, Ogunbote expressed his satisfaction with the result, stating, “I think it is going to be a big relief for the team. Having played the first two matches without a win, this victory, no matter how it comes, is a big relief for us.”
Looking ahead, Shooting Stars will face Bendel Insurance on Wednesday, October 2nd, at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin. The team aims to build on this momentum as they continue their campaign.
