Former world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua has linked up with two players of Nigeria’s senior women’s national team.

Joshua, who is on Yuletide holiday in Nigeria, linked up with Super Falcons duo Michelle Alozie and Esther Okoronkwo in Lagos at Mako Club.

They were all smiles as they posed for a picture, showcasing a wonderful moment of unity between boxing and football.

This encounter not only highlights the camaraderie among athletes but also brings attention to the vibrant sports culture in Nigeria.

It’s always exciting to see such interactions that inspire fans across different sports.

The boxer of Sagamu descent in Ogun state previously visited the state Governor and is expected to be the flag bearer for this year’s National Sports Festival taking place in the state.

The Governor also spoke about having a boxing center in his name to raise young and talented boxers.

Joshua also visited the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as part of his holiday visits.
