The semifinal matches will be single-leg ties, meaning there will be no home or away advantage. Each team has just one chance to advance to the final.

The two semifinal winners will meet in a single-leg final, also in Morocco, to determine the CAF Playoff Champion.
All matches in the playoff series will be held on neutral ground.

Proposed Dates:

Semifinals: November 13, 2025

Final: November 16, 2025

The playoff champion will earn a spot in the Intercontinental Playoff scheduled for March 2026 β€” the final qualification stage for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Africa’s representative will face teams from Asia, South America, Oceania, and CONCACAF (North & Central America) in a decisive showdown to secure the continent’s 10th and final World Cup slot.

The Super Eagles will take on Gabon in their semifinal clash, with hopes of advancing to the final and keeping their World Cup dreams alive.
