Rivers United Hold Power Dynamos to Goalless Draw in Zambia

Rivers United claimed their first point of the CAF Champions League group stage after holding Power Dynamos to a 0–0 draw in a tightly contested Matchday 3 encounter in Zambia.

Both sides had chances in an evenly balanced contest but were unable to find the breakthrough, ultimately settling for a share of the spoils.

The result sees Rivers United remain third in Group A with one point, level with Power Dynamos, but the Nigerian side will take encouragement from picking up a valuable away point.

At the top of the standings, RS Berkane of Morocco and Egypt’s Pyramids FC continue to lead Group A with six points each after three matches.
