Arsenal has been told to fork in €80m if they are to lure striker Tammy Abraham from AS Roma.

Abraham moved to Italy last summer after Chelsea decided to re-sign Romelu Lukaku and while the Belgian has struggled at Stamford Bridge, Abraham has been having the season of his life in Italy.

Reports from Football.London indicates that Chelsea does have an €80m buy-back clause in his contract and can bring him back to the club at any time if they pay the fee; Roma expected to ask for the same fee for any suitor if they are to attempt to sign the 24-year-old.

Abraham has managed 24 goals this season, more than he ever scored in one campaign for Chelsea and there is a belief that Arsenal wants to bring him back to the Premier League as a replacement for Alexander Lacazette who has openly admitted that he will be leaving the club in the summer.

Apart from Lacazette, Arsenal’s remaining striker Eddie Nketiah has refused to sign a new deal with the club and wants assurance about his position in the team before he can commit to a new deal.
