Pjanic set for Inter Milan move

Miralem Pjanic could return to the Serie A with Inter Milan said to be interested in his services.

The midfielder was in the books of Juventus and AS Roma previously but saw his progress stall after moving to FC Barcelona where he signed a contract until 2024. He is currently in the books of the Turkish side Besiktas but feels he should be mixing it with the European big boys.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Bosnia will return to Camp Nou in the summer but Barca wants to cut him off their wage bill and will listen to offers for him.

The reports claim that Guiseppe Marotta, the Internazionale’s CEO, is a huge fan of the player and wants him as a replacement for Arturo Vidal who looks set to depart San Siro in the summer.

The Nerazzurri are currently second in the league behind Milan and are still angling for the Serie A title a move that will see them participate in the Champions Lague once again; a competition that Pjanic wants to participate in season in season out.
