Nigeria midfielder Chioma Olise goes spiritual ahead of Ghana’s final showdown

Nigeria U-20 midfielder Chioma Olise is confident the Falconets will defeat hosts Ghana and clinch the maiden WAFU-B U-20 Women’s title on Saturday.
Nigeria, the only team yet to concede at the tournament will trade tackle with the Black Princess in the winners takes all final at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The final match will rekindle the age-long rivalry between the two West African neighbours and the Edo Queens star went spiritual with her belief in edging their rivals to the coveted inaugural title.
“I want to thank God for everything thus far. He brought us here. Throughout the group stage, no conceding of goals and I want to bless his name for making it from the group to the final,” Olise told Nigeriafootball.ng.
“Concerning the final match (against Ghana), we would put God first because in everything you do you put God first.
“We believe in each other and play with confidence and show them we are Nigerians. We would play to the coach’s instructions.
“I believe on the final day, God will give us the trophy and we will rejoice and bless his name.”
