CAF CL: Olorunleke Ojo rues Enyimba loss to Al-Ahly Benghazi, upbeat about progression

Enyimba Football Club goalkeeper, Ojo Olorunleke has lamented the team’s loss to Libyan side, Ahly Benghazi in the first leg of the first preliminary round of the 2023/2024 CAF Champions League in Benina on Sunday.
The People’s Elephant took the lead before succumbing to a 4-3 loss, conceding a late goal at Martyrs of February Stadium ahead of the reverse fixture in Nigeria next week.
Two-time African champions need to win by a goal without conceding to make it to the next round after returning home with three away goals which will be of huge advantage for Finidi George’s team.
And the captain of the Aba-based outfit is upbeat his team can get the job done in the return leg on home soil.
“It’s a painful and disappointing result for us,” he told Daily Post.
“Hopefully we will finish up with a victory in the second leg in Aba.
“We believe in ourselves and we are confident of getting a good result.”
