Nigerian winger, Blessing Nkor is set to depart Tanzanian side, Yanga Princess after a season with the team.
The Tanzanian club confirmed that she will be moving to a European club ahead of the coming 2022-23 season.
“The management of Young Africans SC would like to inform the public that we have reached an agreement with Dogus Gold Asyapor Club of Turkey to buy our player Blessing Nkor,” the club confirmed earlier on Thursday.
The development means the former Ibom Angels star will join the list of Nigerian players in Turkey next season after agreeing personal terms with Dogus Gold Asyapor Club.
Nkor joined Yanga Princess from Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Championship side, Sunshine Queens before the kick-off of 2022-23 season.
She joined her compatriots like Chioma Wogu, Mary Saiki, and Precious Christopher at the club and the major highlight of her stay at Yanga Princess was scoring a hat trick as the team thrashed The Niger Queens 5-0.
She has taken to her X account (formerly Twitter page) to thank the club after her approving her departure.
“A deep appreciation to the entire management of @YangaPrincess_ & @YoungAfricansSC for their support always,” she wrote.
“A special thanks from my heart to you and fans of Yanga worldwide. Thank you very much. I love you all.”
