Hamza Abara hails Niger Tornadoes good fight despite defeat at Enugu Rangers

Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes, Hamza Abara has applauded his boys for their brilliant second half display in their 2-1 Nigeria Premier Football League defeat to Enugu Rangers on Sunday.
The Flying Antelopes scoring two first half goals through Joel Odoh and Godwin Obaje to claim the maximum points at the expense of their visitors at the Awka City Stadium.
The Ikon Allah boys rallied in the second half with more determination that later paid off with a team goal that was well dispatched by Bashir Usman in the 54th minute and they were unable to upset the hosts.
Abarah who commended the spirited performance from his boys said the team need to start stronger with more focus from get go.
“It was a good match, we responded well in the second half and were almost get it right, but still I give kudos to my players,” Abara told NigeriaFootball.ng.
“The early goals we conceded was demoralizing, but we were able to come back in the second half stronger.
“Me and (Rangers’ Coach) Fidelis knows each other inside out and that reflected on the game just like you all saw, that’s why the game was balanced,” he said.
The Ikon Allah boys will seek to take each game as they come, as they host Bayelsa United in their next NPFL fixture in Kaduna.
