Michelle Alozie trashes romantic gift of flowers from secret admirer

Nigeria international and Houston Dash defender, Michelle Alozie is back in the trending news.

The 26-year-old amid previous rumours of her sexuality has once again left fans guessing as to what is her relationship status.

In a now-deleted video poster by the player on X (Twitter), she was seen disposing of a bouquet of roses which she received as a romantic gift from a secret admirer in a trash can.

While some have criticized Alozie for the public nature of her action, others have defended her right to privacy and personal choice.

Alozie —who once said she had a crush on Super Eagles player Alex Iwobi— has made headlines since her appearance at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

She works part-time as a cancer research technician at the Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.
