Kano Pillars technical adviser, Abdul Maikaba has lauded club legend, Rabiu Ali for his positive impact at the club.
The Sai Masu Gida skipper has only played for the club all his life and has remained a dedicated and disciplined player.
Maikaba described Ali has the most experienced player in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), who’s having a positive impact among the younger players, stressing that the club has capable replacements for the midfielder
“Actually, I can say that Rabiu Ali currently is one of the experienced players we have in the league,” Maikaba told The Guardian.
“So, even playing for Pillars, he has being helping the younger players to grow and you can see that we have similar players like Rabiu Ali in the team.
“Which I believe in his absence or even if he retires from playing football, we have capable hands to take over from him.”
Kano Pillars are 18th on the NPFL table with three points and they will face Rivers United on Sunday, October 22.
