Afcon qualifier: Nigeria invite Gift Orban ruled out of Sao Tome and Principe clash

Newly invited Nigeria forward, Gift Orban has been ruled out of the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

The forward, who have been making waves in the Belgium Pro League picked up a knock in training on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

Orban was left out of the Super Eagles training routine session on Saturday as he watches his teammates have their last training before the game against Sao Tome.

This is the first time that Orban will be getting an invite to the Super Eagles following his explosive performances for KAA Gent at club level.

The pacy forward has scored two goals in four matches this season for Gent.
